This got booted from both Elfwood and Epilogue for not being fantasy (yeah right... that's the reason...) But since I'm a masohist (I've gotten death threats over this drawing via e-mail) and because I still want to share it, here it is.
When it comes to this drawing, I've noticed there seem to be two groups of people: those who understand it and those who don't. Those who misunderstand it do it one of two ways: either they believe this to be a hatemonger's call to arms (and send me hate-mail), or they assume it's a portrait of the USA as the "dumb slayer of innocents" (and send me props). None of this is true! This was drawn in the weeks after 9-11 and is meant to express my belief that placing another cheek is such a situation is a bad, bad idea... No, I don't particularly like Bush, but I believe he's done a good job as president. Yes, I support kicking ass where kicking ass is due. No, I'm not insane, and neither am I stupid or a bad person for feeling the way I feel. ""
