Happy Birthday America by proud-americans Happy Birthday America by proud-americans
On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from England and Democracy was born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the "land of the free and the home of the brave" so they can begin their American Dream.
The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, family gatherings and firework shows.

This is painted on a barn by my home. The red and blue spots are hand prints that the children at the school nearby did while helping paint the barn.

Country life gets me down (because I'm a city-slicker I guess), but this is another pleasant alternative to all this "hate out of love towards America" I see everywhere on deviantART.

America IS a free country. If you stop and think about it, "freedom from tyranny" is a very broad definition.

But as for the American Dream....I'm out searching for it, but there's far too much in the way for me to achieve it. I'm sure it still exists, but for me it's going to take decades, what with my beliefs and such.
